Contractor Program Security Officer
Individual will work under the guidance and direction of the AREA 5 Security Manager. The assignments of the Security Specialist Sr – CPSO are focused on administering a robust security program for several projects in multiple locations. The CPSO implements all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, Vols 1-4, and exhibits the dedication and expectation of a seasoned security professional while working and making decisions independently without direct supervision. The CPSO works as a team player, exhibits flexibility, sets priorities, and manages customer expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The CPSO interacts with internal and external customers or Government security officials in performance of security duties.
Additional assignments include: physical security, information security, security education and awareness, document & media control, Top Secret Control Officer, personnel security, data transfers, visitor control, maintain security files, handle & processing classified documents, and other security support activities as assigned by the Security Manager. Prepare and conduct Program Security Awareness Briefings, develop security plans, goals, and objectives to comply with existing directives and future requirements. Briefing & indoctrinate program personnel on the proper application of security procedures. Interpret and provide classification guidance to employees, participate in self-inspections as well as CSA reviews, and investigate security incidents. Support other security related tasks as assigned by the Security Manager. Will work in a secured area and may work extended hours and weekends. Local travel, throughout the Southern New Hampshire region will be required routinely. Other travel may be required on a limited basis.
Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Exceptional administrative, organizational, and time management skills. Preferred Skills and Education

Completion of either Introduction to SAPs or SAP Mid-level is a plus.
