Contract Administrator Principle

BAE Systems is looking for a contract professional that can mentor a team of contract administrators, as well as work with other functional executives to develop innovative contracting solutions for the business.

This individual will apply extensive technical expertise regarding Contracts administration and will have the ability to resource and manage multiple priorities which requires excellent project management skills. The selected candidate will represent the organization as a Contracts Lead as required and interact with senior internal and external personnel on matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing value added analysis of solicitation terms and conditions, identify risk mitigation techniques, independently leading the cost narrative volume, acting as a pivotal coordinator for the proposal development
  • Work collaboratively across the business and negotiate contracts within corporate policies and framework
  • Drafting complex contracts / agreements
  • Examine performance and contractual deliverables/requirements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to bid specifications and contractual term
  • Perform research on complex contracting matters and provide sound business advice and recommendations in accordance with regulations and in support of the company’s initiatives
  • Negotiate and administer Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to meet internal and external requirements and deadlines
  • Provide guidance and mentor-ship to junior staff
