The qualified candidate will be responsible for executing the Change Management process in accordance IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices. The preferred candidate will have experience working in ITIL v3 based organizations and a firm (Intermediate/Practitioner) Level of understanding of the ITIL IT Service Management framework. The Change Manager will be responsible for managing and improving program Change Management processes and workflows, facilitating Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and associated workgroups, coordinating documents and other artifacts required by the CCB, managing the communication of CCB decisions, assisting with program Quality Assurance and ITIL maturity audits, and performing other process owner activities associated with the Change Management process.

  • Responsible for performing all activities required to process, coordinate, approve, and report on any Changes in the program baseline
  • Facilitates the CCB, Emergency Change Control Board (ECCB) and other Change Management/Governance workgroups
  • Prepare agenda and prepare minutes for CCB meetings and workgroups
  • Reviews Request For Change's (RFC's) in MS System Center Service Manager for adherence to program Change Management requirements
  • Approves RFC's identified as Standard Changes
  • Reviews RFCs and approves or rejects them based on their adherence to documented Change Management processes and policy
  • Manages and publishes the Forward Schedule of Change (FSC)
  • Monitors, reviews, and tracks progress of all open RFC's through completion
  • Ensures all RFC's are prioritized to meet existing SLA's and escalates priority of RFC's in jeopardy of breaching SLA
  • Provide expertise and training on the use of the Change Management process and tools
  • Conducts Post Implementation Review (PIR) of completed RFC's with Release Manager to validate results of RFC
  • Responsible for providing status and determining the satisfaction of Change Initiator, CCB Chair, and voting Members with results of RFC
  • Capture and report Change Management metrics in support of SLA's and Service Level Objectives (SLO's)
