Configuration Analyst Senior

Job Description

Plan and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, software, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer requirements are met. Review contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinate modification records for management control. Review change package, directives and related documentation. Organize configuration management data required for audits, reviews and changes. Establish data banks, records and history files, and program/project data distribution lists. Confer with engineers and other professionals to obtain additional information or to interpret policies and procedures for reporting design changes. Perform audit inspections or technical document preparation procedures to verify compliance with contract requirements. Have complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards relating to Configuration Management and aerospace industry practices. Perform Document Control functions to include classified and unclassified CDRL generation, CDRL tracking and submittals using Government submittal systems.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Education Minimum Qualifications:

11+ Years with HS

7+ Years with AA

5+ Years with BS

Preferred Skills and Education

Licenses, Certifications, Special Requirements:

Security Clearance: Top-Secret, must be able to obtain and retain Special Access Program Accesses.

Configuration Management Certification

Experience with audits performed IAW AS9100, AS9110 and DCMA Instruction 8210.1C
Familiar with DOD Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS)

Enovia or related PDM system experience
