Computer/Network Technician

Perform System Administration on Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) tactical information systems. Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, provide access control, monitor, and log analysis for Navy combat systems, tactical computer systems, and networks . Troubleshoot and repair tactical hardware and software. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Required education: High School/GED

Requires 5 years of experience supporting Navy computer systems and networks

Requires Navy Maintenance Certification in accordance with PQS -301, NAVEDTRA 43241-K.

Requires Information Assurance Technicians (IAT) Level 2 or higher with certification in current Networking Technologies, Operating Systems or Information Security (as per DoD Directive 8570)

Requires an IT-1 level clearance per SECNAV M-5510.30.
