Combat Vehicle Electrical & Electronics Obsolescence Engineer

The Electrical and Electronics Obsolescence Engineer may support multiple Combat Vehicle programs including the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, and Paladin Family of Vehicles. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing component parts lists, identifying component obsolescence issues and identifying strategies for component part obsolescence mitigation. The candidate shall have a good understanding of electrical and electronic components and their functions. The candidate will be required to travel on a limited basis (<10%) and will work under the direction of an integrated product team (IPT) Lead Engineer.

The candidate may be responsible for design and integration of electrical components into military vehicle platforms. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating and preparing engineering documentation, reporting issues to more senior personnel and supporting the IPT in design proposal development.
