Collection Management Instructor with Podium Exp. GIMS

This program requires a Collection Management (CM) instructor to develop and deliver collection management training classes to government agencies and the Department of Defense (DoD). The successful candidate will work as part of a team of contract and government geospatial analysts, imagery analysts, systems instructors, and sensors instructors. The instructor will teach basic and advanced CM concepts, CM methodologies, collection tasking, and practical applications to assist geospatial intelligence analysts at both the national and theater level. Instructor duties include development and revision of current CM courses, conduct on-podium instruction of developed courseware, management of students and classroom work and activities. Additional duties include development of Subject Matter Expertise to the growing changes to the CM discipline through attendance and participation of technical conferences as well as conducting briefings to high level IC and DoD officials. The candidate will also help create new course curriculum in conjunction with government analysts, management, and members of the IC.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Working knowledge of agencies within the IC and the Department of Defense (DoD).

Working knowledge of geospatial intelligence, specifically as it applies to CM within the IC and the Department of Defense (DoD).

Minimum of six years experience working directly with CM platforms, sensors, and geospatial intelligence applications.

Minimum 2 years experience as an on-podium trainer/instructor for class sizes up to 20 personnel

Proven working knowledge of Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED).

Demonstrate working knowledge of the principle applications of Geospatial-Intelligence Information Management Software (GIMS) and PMAA.

Proven working knowledge of the principles of Remote Sensing both national and tactical.

Working knowledge of multiple strategic and theater level reconnaissance assets

Excellent writing and briefing skills with the ability to convey course materials clearly and concisely

Preferred Skills and Education Knowledge of a variety of electronic light tables (e.g. RemoteView, Socet GXP…)

Experience in creating presentations, briefings, and geospatial products for demonstration purposes

Knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) as well as knowledge in the development and implementation of course materials, and how to make those course materials ISD compliant.

Experience with training in a military or Intelligence Community environment.
