Collection Management Instructor with Podium and GIMS Experience

Delivers in-resident and distance learning Collection Management instructional programs in accordance with course requirements. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of contract and government geospatial analysts, imagery analysts, and sensors instructors. The instructor will teach basic and advanced CM concepts, CM methodologies, collection tasking, and practical applications to assist geospatial intelligence analysts at both the national and theater level. Instructor duties include development and revision of current CM courses, conduct on-podium instruction of developed courseware, management of students and classroom work and activities. Uses instructional methods such as, guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. Conducts assessment strategy in accordance with the course design, including instructor observation, testing, and grading. Provides formal and informal student feedback. Provides subject matter expertise throughout the curriculum creation process, including content review and feedback to development staff. Relevant instructional experience includes, but is not limited to, experience developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, or industrial organizations. Relevant subject matter expertise (SME) experience includes, but is not limited to, experience in technical field as described below. Minimum of 10 years relevant experience working directly with CM platforms, sensors, and geospatial intelligence applications.

Working knowledge of agencies within the IC and the Department of Defense (DoD).

Proven working knowledge of Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED).

Documented experience using Geospatial-Intelligence Information Management Software (GIMS) within the last two (2) years.

Proven working knowledge of the principles of Remote Sensing both national and tactical.

Working knowledge of multiple strategic and theater level reconnaissance assets.

Excellent writing and briefing skills with the ability to convey course materials clearly and concisely. Preferred Skills and Education

Experience in creating presentations, briefings, and geospatial products for demonstration purposes.

Knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) as well as knowledge in the development and implementation of course materials, and how to make those course materials ISD compliant.

Experience with training in a military or Intelligence Community environment.
