CMWS Depot Field Engineer Tobyhanna PA

Job Description

Provide Common Missile Warning Systems (CMWS) Depot Reconfigurable Core Test Systems (RCTS) Equipment support at the US Army Depot Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. Provide Field Engineering Depot Test Stand Support in the following CMWS Depot Electronic Warfare areas: development, integration, system test, debug capabilities, training, and maintenance concepts for prime electronic systems/subsystems. Successful candidate must possess a high level of experience and knowledge developing and supporting TPSs utilizing the National Instruments' Test Stand application and successfully integrated the ECU and EOMS TPSs with the system under test (SUT).

In addition, it is required that the candidate possess EW and/or IR electrical troubleshooting, debugging, maintenance and fault isolation abilities using standalone RF Test Equipment (Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzers, etc) associated with EW fault diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair. The successful candidate shall perform CMWS Integrated Test Equipment engineering tasks associated with hardware applications and providing software upgrades to support the US Government Depot. This individual will be work closely with the US Government customer at Tobyhanna PA and communicate closely with the BAE Systems CMWS Program Office in New Hampshire.

The location of this assignment is Tobyhanna, PA with some travel to NH for Technical Meetings, initial CMWS training and CMWS top level system architecture design for testability and maintainability. Travel requirements anticipated to be approximately 75% of the time.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

• Bachelor's Degree Software Engineering or Technical/Scientific Field (BSEE)
• Minimum of 4 years Automated Test Systems (ATS) Related Experience
• Proficient with TPS design and testability.
• Proficient with ATE COTS instrumentation (VME, IEEE-488)
• Secret Security Clearance.
Must be able to work closely with Government and Military customer and other program team members.
• Current US Passport or qualified to obtain passport.
