CMSFC Sr Principal Analyst
The Senior Cyber Analyst will provide over watch and situational awareness, along with direct communications and coordinated response procedures with the Tier 2 CSSP. The position is located at Peterson AFB Colorado Springs, CO. The Senior Cyber Analyst is responsible for monitoring all network traffic and providing dedicated focus on maintaining mission assurance for the critical missions of the USASMDC Cyber Key Terrains. The Senior Cyber Analyst may be requested, as part of a team, to provide the 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, 365-days a year (24/7/365) capability to detect network attacks to USASMDC network communications. The Senior cyber analyst will provide support working as part of a team to monitor and analyze network and system traffic. The selected individual will be required to completed all company and contract-required training.

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
The candidate must have an IAM/IAT Level III (CISSP preferred or associate, CISA, GSE, SCNA) certification.
A CND certification (GCIA, SSCP, GCIH, CSIH, CISA, GSNA, CISSP-ISSMP, CISM) is required, a CEH may be acceptable.
Analyst must have at least 6 years' experience with design or operations of telecommunications networks.
Must have direct experience with deployment of Unified Threat Management (UTM) platforms and underlying technologies including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), vulnerability assessment frameworks, Infrastructure detection and discovery techniques, configuration and deployment of Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS / IPS), host-based and network-based firewalls, host-based and network-based forensics frameworks, and utilization of penetration testing techniques and tools to actively secure organizational assets.
TS/SCI clearance required
Preferred Skills and Education
Candidates with experience in Splunk, Security Onion and hunt tools (Cobalt Black, Endgame, Sqqrl) are preferred.
Operating system certifications.
Knowledge of DOD Communication Network Architectures and Network Operations Center (NOC) documentation and processes.
Experience in information security, network administration, or system administration is also desired.
Vendor certifications (i.e., ARCSight, Checkpoint, Splunk, CCNA or CCSP).
Previous experience with DoD security requirements.
