Change Control Manager

Job Description

The candidate will manage the Change Management process(es) for our government customer. They will work closely with the Configuration Control Board, a function of the Configuration Management Program (CMP), which charters operational readiness, provides change management, configuration control, and coordinates with the CIO or D/CIO on the review and approval for all Request for Change (RFC) actions proposed by the various customer users for the customer's production or operational IT enterprise. Manage the Gate review's with the IT staffs to ensure changes are made with awareness and approval. Awareness escalation to executive leadership is done for significant or impactful changes, delays, or requirement requests. Automated notifications for stakeholder groups are maintained for critical systems/services.

• Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts

Preferred Skills and Education
Experience with JIRA
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM tools
Change management certification or designation desired
