Marine / Shipyard Carpenter needed to read and follow Dock Setting instructions, read blue prints and read/develop Shop Drawings. This job also entails the measuring, layout, fabrication and installation of cabinetry and furniture. Carpenter must also know how to install windows, joiner panels, flooring and custom trim work. One must be able to run a small team with limited supervision. A familiarization with nautical terms is desired. Required Skills and Education Must be able to read a tape measure to the 32nd of an inch. Must be able to safely use a table saw, band saw, planer, lathe and router. One must be able to properly hang doors, install floors, set docks, build stairs, build temporary covers of various sizes and shapes, work in confined spaces, operate an pneumatic nail gun, build furniture, install windows, listen and take instructions, receive constructive criticism without getting offended, treat others the way he/she wants to be treated and work well with others.
