C5ISR Field Service Engineer I/II
The selected applicant will provide overseas technical support for the JTCITS (Joint Tactical C4I Transceiver System) and Digital Video Broadcast – Return Channel System (DVB-RCS) programs. This position requires continuous deployment (one year minimum with a 2-week midterm return to CONUS break) to locations designated as Hazardous Duty by the U.S. Department of State. Although there is no offer or guaranty of employment upon completion of overseas service, good performers will have priority consideration for available CONUS positions. The successful candidate must meet/maintain the “Fit for Duty” requirements (specific health and physical requirements) as specified by U.S. Government directives, including CENTCOM Mod 12. In addition, the selected applicant must possess an active Top Secret DoD security clearance with eligibility for SCI access.
This position is based in Spring Lake, NC, with deployment to locations designated as Hazardous Duty. Applicants must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to the Spring Lake, NC or surrounding area. Please be sure to address all requirements of posted requisition in resume. - Self starter and able to work without direct supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Active security clearance (TS and SCI eligible) Preferred Skills and Education – Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Current Network+ and Security+ credentials
- Experience supporting US Special Operations Forces while deployed
- Valid US passport
- Technical experience with full motion video and metadata transmission over radio and IP networks
- Audiovisual and video teleconferencing system installation and programming
