C4ISR Systems Test Analyst
Subject Matter Expert (SME) -Test Analyst for C4ISR Systems test planning, execution, troubleshooting and providing technical support during systems integration, installation and acceptance testing phases for program of record (PoR) and non-PoR C4I systems for use in ashore and afloat platforms. Program scope includes providing design, engineering, integration, testing, installation, project management, Acquisition and Process Improvement Support to the Government (NIWC Atlantic) customer's C4I FMS IPT
Within this role, the SMEs functional responsibilities may include but not limited to: Analyzes client requirements and recommends development or acquisition strategies. Assists in developing strategic plans and concepts, developing test methodologies, test plans, detailed test procedures, and other testing products. The selected applicant will support the conduct of C4I system testing in a local test facility, and will travel to shipyard installation sites to support C4I testing, troubleshooting, or demonstrations. Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
- Experience: Twelve (12) years of hands-on experience with military communications, intelligence or reconnaissance, to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in military communications, intelligence gathering or reconnaissance systems.
- Specific Experience: Three (3) years of experience with C4ISR systems with specific experience in the integration, testing, installation, troubleshooting and technical support, including crew familiarization training, of DoN electronic and/or communications systems. Experience to include complete end-to-end testing of C4I systems
- Should be familiar with the Shipbuilding and Conversion, Navy (SCN) environment and both afloat and ashore platforms, including working within shipyard environments as required
- 50%+ travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations as required
Minimum Education: Technical training in military communications, intelligence gathering or reconnaissance systems.
•Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
•Strong oral and written communications skills.
•Test Program experience
•Experience using technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, etc
•Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance as required
