Asset Management Warehouse Support

Job Description

Job Description and Requirements:
Work for the Company Assets (Asset Management) Organization at two warehouse locations;

- unload trucks using a pallet jack or forklift (once properly trained)
- sort out capital, expense, program equipment to determine the appropriate use
- dismantle test stations to increase the value of the reclaim
- keep good records (change database as required) on what has arrived in order to be able to retrieve the items that have been stored
- unwrap packages and crates without damaging equipment
- participate in the tagging of new equipment within the warehouse and at other BAE facilities with the NH area
- take direction from experienced BAE personnel who have experience in this working environment
- reshuffle equipment that is in storage or being turned in - to accommodate more shipments
- support engineering and technicians as they look for useable equipment (redeployment) and insure that they appropriate transfer documentation has been generated

Required Skills and Education

- 1-2 years of warehouse experience (consistent past employment)
- experience within defense environment
- mechanically inclined
- familiar with electronics equipment and test stations
- flexible, able to follow directions, quality conscious, dependable, able to communicate with all levels of management
- neat in appearance
- able to lift 25 LBS consistently through out the day, heavier objects will be lifted with help

Preferred Skills and Education

- high school education with intent to further education (internal or external courses)
