Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) Program Manager

Job Description

BAE Systems, Combat Vehicles group was recently awarded a contract for the design and development of two new variants of our Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) line. The new ACV-C (Command) will integrate seven work stations to provide situational awareness and control of the battle space. The new ACV-30 will integrate a 30mm medium caliber cannon to the platform.

To support these new variants, we are currently recruiting for a Program Manager to manage, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate, and execute these ACV-C programs. In this role, you will ensure achievement of financial, schedule, and technical performance objectives; participate in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company; and model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years relevant experience.

Proven ability to manage complex tasks to completion through coordinated execution of cross-functional support.

Candidate must demonstrate proven ability to plan, organize and communicate effectively within a cross functional team.

Preferred Skills and Education
PMP or DAWIA PM Certification desired.

Ability to develop, implement, and manage project plans to include detailed task definition, resource requirements, schedule, quality, and cost parameters.

Assesses project risk areas and develops risk mitigation plans.

Familiarity with DOD 5000 acquisition processes and experience in product realization through production.
