Image Editor Manager - Costa Rica

The Image Editor Manager leads a team of editors responsible for publishing product images for specialty retail sites backcountry.com and competitivecyclist.com. You’ll be tasked with navigating vendor’s media portals, gathering assets, and all post production for studio imagery. Your critical eye and creative touch is essential to our business's success.

About the Job:

  • Develop production standards that deliver top-quality product images across a diverse catalog
  • Create an environment that promotes training, development, and a rich company culture
  • Manage reporting, ensuring throughput and quality metrics are maintained
  • Help to develop/support processes that improve capture rate in our vendor image workstreams
  • Integrate seamlessly with Salt Lake City based image operation
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
  • Develop production standards that deliver top-quality product images across a diverse catalog

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience editing studio images
  • B.S. Degree in Art, Graphic Design, Digital Photography, or similar
  • Thorough understanding of Photoshop with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives/tasks and meet strict deadlines
  • Natural leadership quality
  • Excellent communication skills–95% English proficiency
