Your Impact
Reporting directly to our Global Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the placement of replenishment purchase orders and planning shop orders within a value stream to ensure alignment of incoming materials with production capacity and demonstrated output. You will use your passion, technical experience, and strong analytical skills to ensure inventory is in place, and support the production plan in the assigned value stream. 

Your Day to Day

  • Utilize forecast and demand management tools ensure supplier purchase orders are placed within appropriate lead time to ensure material resources are adequate to complete required production
  • Monitor and react to supplier performance issues in partnership with Category Managers
  • Develop value stream production plan and daily/weekly/monthly schedule to ensure fulfillment of customer demand and safety stock levels. Perform ongoing adjustments to ensure customer fulfillment targets are achieved
  • Work with value stream team to align production capacity with plan
  • Collaborate with Category Managers in purchasing on supplier issues that effect on time delivery, inventory levels, and quality
  • Accountabilities include: Inventory levels, on-time delivery, and schedule compliance

Skills Required

  • BS in Supply Chain, Logistics or related discipline
  • 2+ years’ experience in a plant scheduling and replenishment purchasing
  • Strong organizational, communication and negotiation skills required for supplier and team interface
