Before settling into your role, LDP's gain exposure to the following departments: Marketing, Finance, Sales, Operations, People Operations, Recruiting, Consumer Team, Product Management, and other related area's. Each rotation is tailored to the individuals area of expertise to ensure optimal role to personnel fit.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Real passion for technology and public safety
  • Demonstrated, substantive leadership experience in student organizations or professional societies
  • Strong independent thinker with extraordinary levels of pro-activeness, ownership mentality, self-motivation, ambition, and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Grit and ability to overcome obstacles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 (Strong academic performance)


  • Finance
  • Preparing monthly budget vs. actual analysis and monthly reporting package
  • Preparing ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Conducting cost/benefit analysis and break-even analysis for various projects
  • Interacting across the organization to prepare and analyze Key Performance Indicators
  • Building and updating financial forecasts and models
  • Comparing internal forecasts with analyst models, while ensuring technical accuracy of analyst models
  • Maintaining investor contact database and investor relations portion of company website

  • Marketing
  • Developing a marketing automation strategy that will drive the success of the company
  • Supporting tactical campaign strategies
  • Performing market research, analyzing the data, and proposing a recommendation
  • Building a customer segmentation plan
  • Building a strong business model that will help the increase in revenue

  • Consumer Products
  • Generating exciting ideas to grow the business, test the hypotheses, then translate to insights
  • Researching the market size and health of a wide-variety of products
  • Building pricing models for new programs/products
  • Evaluating potential strategic partners and resellers
  • Executing on launch of new partnerships
  • Marketing content creation, copy writing, and design work
  • Utilizing analytics to shape and execute digital marketing strategies

  • Business Development
  • Evaluating potential business partners across channels, industries, products, and technology considerations
  • Assessing the financial viability of partners and acquisition opportunities
  • Developing and providing analysis to support mid- and long-term corporate planning projects across products, technologies, organizations, and financial outcomes
  • Assisting with additional internal or customer-facing projects
  • Engaging with partners, allies, and competitors within and beyond industry to bring better technology into law enforcement

  • Product Management-Axon Devices
  • Working with Product Managers on surveys for VOC input
  • Reviewing competition and put together a strong matrix
  • Reviewing all drones in the market and developing a strong analysis
  • Working with PM's on PRD's, new features, and develop "launch excellence” checklists

  • Product Management
  • Understanding and analyzing user needs and cases
  • Assisting in defining a product vision and strategy for a particular set of projects
  • Teaming up with designers, engineers, and product managers to build and launch new features

  • RMS PM
  • Conducting market research in the law enforcement IT industry
  • Speaking with customers and users to understand current and forecasted needs
  • Building technical and non-technical documents and specifications regarding software product development
  • Leading internal and customer-facing projects to deliver products and respond to customer inquiries
  • Communicating internally and externally about plans, projects, capabilities, and positioning of various products and projects
  • Working with a wide variety of teams to develop and introduce software products to law enforcement
