Your Impact
Reporting directly to our Director of Financial Planning, you will work in a dynamic Finance role with the opportunity to support key strategic decision-making while advancing your skillset. You will support FP&A, assist with ad hoc analysis, and successfully presenting to the Leadership Team. You have excellent analytic and Microsoft Excel skills, and validated experience handling large sets of data.

This is the perfect role if you’re looking for a high-octane Finance position with opportunity to take on significant responsibility under guidance and mentorship from your direct supervisor.

Your Day to Day

  • You will support all planning, forecasting and reporting processes across Axon - both long-term and short-term, including but not limited to monthly forecasts, annual budget & 3-year business outlook
  • Responsible for partnering with the G&A functions to support financial planning and expense management for those functions
  • You will prepare monthly budget vs actual analysis, monthly reporting package, and ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis and/or breakeven analysis for various projects, and work with IT & Sales to build a customer ledger to track key metrics
  • You will successfully interact across the organization to prepare and analyze Key Performance Indicators, present analyses to senior management, and update financial forecasts and models

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting required
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst in a fast-paced, energizing environment
  • Experience in the software/SaaS sector a plus
  • Highly analytical and strategic with a commitment to excellence and a passion for understanding the business
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, proficiency with ad hoc analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and social skills
  • Ability to prioritize and lead multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously
