Your Impact
We are looking for an Electrical Sustaining Engineer who can help drive a growing engineering organization forward. If root cause analysis and leading design modifications comes naturally to you, you could be a great fit here.

You would primarily be responsible for applying your electrical engineering expertise to find solutions to the problems faced by law enforcement and public safety professionals. You will add new functionality to existing products or recommend design changes in response to customer feedback and quality metrics.

Skills Preferred

  • Masters in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years experience designing for EMC and regulatory compliance
  • 5+ years experience with PCB schematic design
  • 5+ years of components level testing and design verification
  • 5+ years experience with OrCad Capture

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering design experience
  • Designs products to enterprise quality standards
  • Collaborates with the quality engineering team to find root cause on field failures
  • Analyzes device performance metrics and telemetry to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Creates tests to determine whether alternative components and suppliers can achieve the design specs
  • Analyzes schematics and layout files
  • Designs mixed signal system with micro controllers, transistors, LEDs, amplifiers, power supplies
  • Designs point of load switching DC/DC converters & regulators
  • Designs high-speed memory bus (LPDDR3, LPDDR4)
  • Selects optimal memory for design (eMMC, NAND, SD Card)
  • Integrates RF systems or modules (WiFi, Bluetooth, BLE)
  • Designs Li-Ion/polymer based battery powered systems
  • Uses various lab test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
  • Designs to regulatory standards (CE, FCC)
