Your Impact  
We are looking for a collaborative leader in mechanical drafting who can help drive a growing engineering organization forward. If you enjoy working on diverse teams and are excited to deliver tangible value to customers around the world, you could be a great fit here.

Your day to day
You will primarily be responsible for the day to day drafting duties for our Research and Development team. You should be detail-oriented with strong mechanical aptitude and able to take ownership of engineering documentation. Daily activities include the development and maintenance of detailed design drawings and mechanical specifications using the SolidWorks CAD package.

Skills Preferred

  • Knowledge of PDM Workgroup or similar CAD management software
  • Familiarity with engineering change orders and general change management processes

Skills Required

  • AS or 2 year technical degree in Computer Aided Drafting/Design or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years drafting experience
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks 2D & 3D packages
  • Mastery in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME-Y14.5 1994-2009 standard
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering product development environment
  • Machining and tooling-oriented background with knowledge in a variety of inspection methods
  • Working knowledge of injection molded plastic and electro-mechanical part design detailing
  • Knowledge of engineering stack-up/tolerance analysis
  • Strong oral and writing communication skills
