What’s the role?

A critical member of the London sales team, the Associate plays a key role in supporting new sales activity, revenue growth on existing client accounts, and successful client engagements through a mix of client development, engagement management, and general account management initiatives. This position requires strong sales capability, consultative and analytical skills, and an ability to interface credibly with senior executives, both internally (at Axiom) and with clients. This is a unique opportunity for an aspiring sales executive who wants to develop into sophisticated, consultative, professional-services sales.

Specifically, this role is accountable for:

 Strategically identify potential client contacts.
 Research and gather business intelligence on potential clients.
 Lead client development efforts with current and prospective clients. Communicate Axiom’s business model to potential clients in an impactful way and demonstrate why a meeting with Axiom would be beneficial to their business.
 Support all aspects of the sales cycle, including scheduling follow-up meetings and managing the pipelines of completed meetings to ensure all prospective clients are being contacted throughout the year.
 Assist in the fulfillment of client needs, including helping market Axiom’s capabilities and setting proposed pricing.
 Support a broad set of account management activities, including conducting discussions with Axiom lawyers and interfacing with internal functions (finance, billing, sales operations) to ensure our client accounts are managed effectively.
 Operate within a collaborative environment with highly motivated teammates and interact with many other parts of the business.
 Support other strategic initiatives as needed.

Beyond these characteristics, here are the required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education:

 2+ years of client development, account management, client relations, consulting experience, or other “commercial” experience within a high-performing, high-growth B2B sales organization, management consultancy, or professional-services firm.
 Instinctive ability to build and nurture client relationships with sophisticated clients.
 Sales methodologies/knowledge of prospecting strategies preferred, though not required.
 Eagerness to learn; ambition to take on more responsibility.
 Meticulous attention to detail and adaptability.
 Solid decision-making, analytical and problem solving skills.
 Thrives in both individual and team environments.
 Excellent communication and presentation skills.
 Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (especially in Excel).

 Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
 Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier college/university.
