People Operations Coordinator

The Role:

The People Operations Coordinator provides assistance with and facilitates a variety of critical functions that impact every current and potential Axialite. This role plays a vital part of living out our culture and values, demonstrating through everything we do the value we place on attracting, selecting, developing, rewarding and retaining incredible people. This role will report to the Vice President of People Operations.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Handle all aspects of recruitment coordination to provide an excellent candidate experience. Including, but not limited to: scheduling and rescheduling, confirming and sending confirmation emails to candidates, coordinating and communicating with hiring managers and greeting candidates in the office
  • Monitor onsite interviews; keep interviewers on time and ensure rooms are available
  • Maintain and update our ATS system (Greenhouse) to develop, track and report on candidate flow
  • Assist with conducting phone screens and make recommendations to recruiter
  • Assist with sourcing active and passive candidates

Human Capital Management

  • Oversee the new employee on-boarding process including background checks, document submission, I-9 verification, benefits enrollment, payroll and system setup
  • Responsible for administering organizational and employee changes across the various systems
  • Managing employee off-boarding including paperwork, reports, system changes, etc.
    • Payroll inputs and coordination
    • Assist with data collection, analysis and reports related to People Operations
    • Monitor and coordinate all required reporting and compliance obligations
  • Provide general assistance and scheduling support for the Vice President of People Operations
  • Collaborate with the People Operations team with ad hoc projects around training, performance management and engagement surveys

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree with preference given to Psychology or Human Resources
  • 0-2 years of professional experience (including internships) in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated interest in People Operations career
  • Masters in Human Resources or related discipline preferred
