RPA Technical Architect

The RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Technical Architect conducts high level / detailed RPA assessments either for new or existing Automation Opportunities.

The Technical Architect also evangelizes Robotic Process Automation concepts with various deals.

This person will have skill in Application Architecture (MS Technologies) / Automation Architecture.

The Technical Architect performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:

  • Solution back office process automation, by leveraging industry tools and technology.
  • Support building automation capability and mentor development team and architects.
  • Evaluate and Prototype internal or external products and provide recommendation to address business requirements.
  • Support in Pre-Sales efforts providing technical expertise on standard offerings and client requirements.
  • Assist development team in resolving technical problems.
  • Anticipate, identify, track and resolve technical issues and risks affecting delivery.
  • Assist with the design, build, rollout and run support for technology solutions.
  • Design and/or configure applications / tools to functional and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate and participate in structured peer reviews / walkthroughs.
  • Architect on Robotic Process Automation.
  • Evaluate RPA tools and provide recommendations.
  • Assess automation opportunities from a technical perspective and provide solutions.
  • Support in Pre-sale activities and provide technical solutions to automate client requirements.
  • Anticipate, identify, track and resolve technical issues and risks affecting delivery.
  • Assist development team in resolving technical problems.
  • Assist Support teams with technical expertise to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate and participate in structured peer reviews and walkthroughs.
Must Have Skills / Qualifications:
  • 4 to 6 years of IT experience.
  • At least 2 years' experience of leading architecture and design.
  • Experience in Automation tools like Blue Prism, UI Path, Automation Anywhere, Fusion, or Jacada.
  • At minimum, experience on at least two automation projects as architecture lead.
  • Experience architecting enterprise level automation involving multiple systems, sub-systems and ERPs.
  • Experience front ending client facing discussions.

Nice to Have Skills / Qualifications:
  • Exposure to SAP, Oracle or other industry standard ERP is preferred.

  • Preferably leading architecture and design for two years in the process automation space.
  • Previous experience working with off-shore teams.

Educational Requirements:

Degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, business, or related field or equivalent experience.

Travel Requirements:

Travel requirements may vary from project to project and type of assignment, but willingness to travel is required. For example, some client and other travel may be required (approximately 30-60% average through the year with a degree of unpredictability) for client technology mobilizations. Internal programs or management of an investment initiative portfolio may require 10-20% travel.

Flexible Work Arrangement:

Position is flexible in supporting "work from home". Other flexible work arrangements can be discussed.
