About the role:
The Modern SharePoint / Experience Architect is responsible for driving revenue through prospecting, acquisition, development and expansion customer opportunities. The Modern SharePoint / Experience Architect will provide technical and solution envisioning expertise to the OU, Direct, Modern Workplace and Accenture sales teams. The Modern SharePoint / Experience Architect will help develop and execute sales strategies, drive proposal efforts and provide technical sales support. The Modern SharePoint / Experience Architect will specialize in SharePoint and O365 Solutions and therefore, provide deep expertise in lead qualification, opportunity assessment, opportunity development and proposal development. The preferred candidate should be considered an expert in Microsoft SharePoint and O365, with a strong working knowledge of the product.
Scope of Responsibility:
Primary technical contact on a client engagement.
Writes elegant, simple and maintainable code that solves our clients' business problems.
Consults, advising our clients and internal stakeholders on the best uses of technology to solve problems.
Ownership for the technical approach and estimation of a proposal during the sales process.
Present technical approach and solutions to C-level clients.
Execute strategic engagements including: Architecture Design Sessions (ADS) & High Level Project.
Design, scope, organize and deliver training events for both client-facing and internal.
Operate in a senior technology advisory capacity to CxOs and their senior leadership.
Learn our client's business, their organization, systems, challenges and goals.
Participate in, and lead stakeholder brainstorming, technical planning and design sessions. You're not just a passive observer, but an active contributor and facilitator.
Craft the technical vision by mapping requirements to technical solutions, communicated through functional and technical design documents.
Articulate execution strategy through roadmaps, estimates and implementation plans.
Ensure quality through enforcement of best practice and project governance.
Build prototypes and proofs of concept to validate technical decisions.
Lead by example through implementation of challenging core components.
Lead client facing & internal training (technology training and/or application specific-training).
Potentially work on more than one project concurrently (2-3 projects at a maximum).

About you:
You're passionate about solving clients' problems. You provide professional consulting services on major enterprise initiatives utilizing Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Framework including web services and enterprise portals. You employ technical and planning skills by participating in large projects while seeking to improve your abilities to think creatively, design solutions, and interact with customers. You will contribute to our vast repository of intellectual property as we employ Microsoft Technologies to create a dramatically more personal, integrated computing experience.
Key Qualifications:
Your background and skills likely include about 10+ years of Development You likely have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.
* JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SharePoint Framework
* Developing custom solutions for SharePoint Online, SharePoint Modern UI and SharePoint 2016 / 2019 experience
* Experience with building/developing PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Graph API, SharePoint Online PowerShell
* Experience working with SharePoint modern pages and modern web parts, O365 and Teams development and integrations
Experience working on migration/modernization projects to SharePoint Online or OnPrem (using Metalogix, AvePoint, ShareGate, etc)
Nice to Have:
* .NET Framework, C#
* Experience with workflow tools such as K2 or Nintex Workflow
* Experience working with Microsoft Teams, Teams app development, Microsoft Yammer, Microsoft 365 Records Management
* Experience working with Azure DevOps
