Junior Talent Acquisition Consultant

The Talent Acquisition (TA) team in Belgium is responsible for the A to Z recruitment process for all levels and domains. We build relationships with schools, offer internships, attract young graduates, create visibility on social and other media to build Avanade's employer brand and actively search for the best talent and experts on the market (by phone, mail, face to face). Candidate experience is an important topic at Avanade.

We perform sourcing activities, engage with (potential) candidates, guide them through interviews and meetings with hiring managers and help them get all the information they need to choose Avanade as their next employer with confidence and pride. Consequently, this means that we bring the bad news in a professional manner if the process would stop early.

We also help our internal colleagues make better decisions through interview trainings, job market analysis, strategic decisions on recruitment process improvements and being an overall business partner for Talent Acquisitions.

Of course, we make sure that all administrative aspects of the recruitment process are taken care of efficiently.

Avanade Belgium is part of region Gallia (BE, NL, FR) and the team in Belgium can count on the support and expertise of the TA teams in other countries. We are growing fast, so we count on a junior colleague to help grow the team, while growing his/her expertise in Talent Acquisition at the same time.

Qualifications

We are specifically looking for a young graduate in an HR-related study field, so you have a good base to start from.

Experience in TA is not necessary, but a keen interest in the field of IT is obviously a must. Most of our vacancies are connected to a Microsoft technology.

TA is a people's business, so you'll need excellent skills in relationship building and communication. Your language skills must include Dutch, French and English, all on a high level, because you'll need to be able to communicate with (potential) candidates in all languages.

We work hard to provide solutions to the business' needs, which means that perseverance, focus, multitasking and ambition will help you get results.

Flexibility and being able to adapt will help you in your daily responsibilities. We focus on our candidates' and business partners's needs in order to bring the best talent and experts on board. We work from both our offices in Merelbeke and Brussels, and if necessary meet candidates at events or on the road.
