Finance Analysis Specialist, Client Finance Management - Dallas or Chicago
In this corporate, non-travel, Client Finance Management (CFM) position, you will be in an advanced analytic and operational role providing independent judgment and strong expertise to teams focused on direct management of client financial accounts and projects at a regional level. You will manage a finance team executing complex tasks and providing operational coordination for processes.
Day-to-day, you will:
Provide complete financial management of client engagements from the point of contract inception to project completion and final invoice collection
Advise client teams on engagement budget and forecast management activities, including analysis of payroll and non-payroll costs, and other metrics to maximize the profitability of engagements
Drive accuracy and rigor across the forecasting process at the engagement level, including monitoring financial status and costs, performing financial forecasting and analysis, and producing financial reports
Assist the CFM Lead in creating the regional budget by obtaining and compiling the proper inputs to create a full profit & loss statement for the fiscal year
Support the CFM lead in compiling the quarterly regional forecast by updating actuals to date and forecast assumptions to align to new regional revenue and operating income targets
Analyze the regional profit and loss statement to provide commentary on material variance to the forecast monthly
Ensure all stakeholders are aware of risks and there are no financial surprises on the deal for Avanade or the client
Provide financial review on pricing calculations for potential client engagements
Support internal financial controls and ensure adherence to Avanade policies at the project/engagement level, particularly including contract and revenue recognition policies
Translate detailed financial concepts into usable insights and reports for the business and present them to the delivery team
Develop the financial acumen and foster the overall growth of junior colleagues both onshore and offshore #dice
Experience in managing financial forecast and analysis
Experience in managing multiple workstreams and balancing competing priorities
Knowledge of standard financial controls and processes
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Proven ability to successfully work in team
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), preferably in Finance or relevant field
Graduated with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better
3-5 years of prior work experience
