Sales Executive, Provider

The Sales Executive is responsible for new account sales and/or expanding existing accounts for a specified territory, primarily focused on promoting the Availity Revenue Cycle Management suite of solutions. The Sales Executive will develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue, close individual healthcare accounts involving multiple executive level stakeholders and manage a complex sales cycle including forecasting and sales activity. The Sales Executive will present solutions using appropriate sales approaches and techniques, including team and/or consultative presentations/efforts. The Sales Executive collaborates with senior management and corporate counsel to negotiate contracts and coordinates all follow-up to insure a delivered, signed contract. Travel will be required for this role. The Sales Executive will also be required to carry out other duties, projects, or activities as specified by their management.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•2 years of solution sales experience in a physician office or hospital market
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
•Bachelor's degree or 3 years of sales experience would be considered in lieu of a degree
SPECIALIZED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
•Proven track record selling RCM and or Healthcare IT solutions to hospitals, health systems and ambulatory care providers.
•Demonstrated experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiating win-win agreements based on value based selling
•Established relationships with executive level professionals in assigned territory
•This individual must also possess a strong competitive desire, prior experience preparing and delivering formal proposals/presentations, the ability to make decisions independently, outstanding written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills.
•Prior experience writing, developing and presenting written proposals and presentations.
