Position Overview

This role delivers both Vendor Management and Data Privacy services to internal business stakeholders and external technology vendor s at Autodesk. The successful candidate brings passion and exceptional skills in contract negotiation, renewals of existing agreements, vendor relationship management, procurement activities, data privacy with an emphasis on policy & operational processes. Your customers are internal Autodesk business owners as well as external vendor s/partners. This role is a member of a team of vendor managers and analysts and reports into the manager of vendor management services.

Responsibilities

Vendor Management

  • Proactively lead vendor relationship management, negotiations of technology purchases
  • Drive contract renewals, business stakeholder management, and related project initiatives
  • Prepare and maintain budgets and other financials to support vendor operations
  • Support thebusinessby developing requirements intoservice level agreements (SLA),Objects and Key Results (OKR),Business Operation Reviews (QBR)
  • Track dashboard metrics and manage escalations on SLA breeches
  • Work with Procurement to negotiate technology agreements between Autodesk and Vendor s
  • OptimizeAutodesk's investment value by creating anefficient license management strategy
  • Collaborate with business owners to develop accurate Statements of Work (SOW) to include business requirements, milestones, timelines and vendor /business deliverables
  • Support business owners in navigating downstream processes such as working with Legal & Finance through the contracting process
  • Facilitate escalation management between the business stakeholders and vendor s
  • Support the execution of spend management deliverables that accomplish key objectives. Those objectives may include savings, operational improvements, supplier consolidation or diversification, risk management or improving spend visibility
  • Monitor contractual agreements and collaborate with business partners to effectively manage contracts
  • Work with IT Stakeholders on automation of service delivery initiatives to optimize business relationship management and self-service solutions


Data Privacy
  • Partner with stakeholder teams across Autodesk to evaluate and implement privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA and other emerging regulations
  • Translate regulatory requirements, changing cultural norms and business expectations into actionable business requirements and ensure clear communication and coordination of such requirements to business and development teams
  • Provide subject matter expertise and direct assistance in the development and implementation of corrective action plans
  • Coordinate end-to-end sign-off across stakeholders during the on-boarding process
  • Develop privacy solutions and processes to that delivers proactive guidance to Business stakeholders on privacy requirements for new system implementations and enhancements
  • Partner with the Compliance and Security Team to ensure vendor compliance with federal and state laws, and other organization requirements
  • Collaborate across teams to establish procurement policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement mechanisms to communicate risks, insights and build consensus on solutions
  • Seek and implement continuous process improvements within the vendor management program



Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years IT Vendor Management and 2+ years Data Privacy experience
  • Lead vendor engagement processes including conducting vendor due diligence, RFx negotiations and supplier management across a variety of categories - with a focus on IT, product development, technical support, and data privacy
  • Operations experience in a high-tech/software environment, with the ability to be adaptable, agile and work at pace
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of data privacy controls, identity management methods as related to technology. Knowledge of current privacy frameworks and regulations
  • Attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Experience running multiple programs with a focus on privacy, risk or regulatory compliance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior leaders, across functions including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Adept at balancing multiple projects with varied deadlines, managing diverse stakeholders and adapting to changing priorities


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working withinformation security, privacy frameworks, privacy principles and/or compliance requirements
  • 2 + year sexperienceworking in user privacy, compliance risk management in technology/data intensive environments
  • 2 +years or more of direct experience in contracting, including contract negotiation
  • Ability to grasp complex technical challenges andcreatepractical, sustainable solutions using data and metrics to drive the right outcome
  • Experience in the technology industry with a demonstrated track record in operations and service delivery
  • Knowledgeable of best practices in vendor management, including auditing, monitoring, risk management, and risk evaluation
  • Ability to work across departments and develop strong, respectful relationships, and to inspire confidence and to build trust
