Position Overview

The Marketing Finance Team is looking for a motivated and curious Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to join our team as we continue to scale. The position reports to the Marketing Senior Manager and has frequent interactions across the Finance, Marketing and Global Revenue Operations teams.

The Marketing Finance team supports two (2) executives and their teams, the CMO (Marketing, Education, Digital Ecommerce) and the VP of Impact (Sustainability and Autodesk Foundation).

As an SFA, you will partner closely with key stakeholders, and contribute meaningfully to the financial planning processes, establishing the right Key Performance Metrics (KPI), dive into the business drivers and use a data driven approach to influence business decisions with your findings.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated great attention to detail, a proven track record of building and improving complex financial models, effective written and verbal communication skills, and a strong desire to continuously learn and innovate while working smart.

Location: Portland or remote

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Data team to develop Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and sales velocity financial models
  • Develop financial Framework to help drive strategic business decisions and provide insight into ROI on Marketing investment
  • Create a framework to track Marketing strategic goals against Leading Performance Indicators (LPI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting, analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating key messages to senior management
  • Build reporting presentations for executive and board level audiences
  • Conduct Adhoc analysis and miscellaneous projects in support of business initiatives
  • Lead improvement initiatives to streamline and automate the modeling tools and planning processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting. MBA or CPA a plus
  • Minimum 3+ years of related finance experience
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, inquisitive mind, data savvy
  • High attention to detail and comfortable working with large data sets
  • Ability to work cross functionally, as well as independently
  • Strong sense of ownership, ability to prioritize, and work in fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of SaaS and Marketing Metrics such as ARR, CAC, LTV, ACV, Churn, ASP, Seats, Media buy by channel (e.g., social, search, email, dotcom), pipeline creation, channel marketing, campaigns, digital sales, and more

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $77,900 and $134,310. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
