Autodesk's Compliance Platform is seeking a passionate software engineer to join a team of diverse, smart, and driven engineers who are responsible for building the compliance platform for the anti-piracy initiatives at Autodesk. This platform has tremendous visibility and impact across all of Autodesk. This engineer will collaborate within a high performing Scrum team where the code, infrastructure and services you develop will have a direct, positive impact to millions of users of our products and on the topline revenue of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with delivering highly available, scalable, distributed systems and microservices in a production setting
  • Work closely with architects and technical product managers to translate overall system architecture and product requirements into well-designed and implemented software components
  • Take ownership of the implementation of individual software components or services, with high emphasis on quality, test-driven development, and sound software engineering practices
  • Collaborate as a member of an agile team and participate in software design reviews, you conduct peer code reviews, and provide input and feedback to other members of the development team
  • Write unit, functional, regression tests for the code you create, and you contribute to the test automation, continuous integration and deployment processes together with everyone else in the development team
  • Excellent technical problem-solving, debugging, testing skills and aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologies
  • Team-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Low tolerance for inefficiency and the burning desire to automate anything that can be automated
  • Creative, collaborative, and product-focused
  • Self-starter, and have a real passion for making simple, robust, and scalable platforms used by other engineering teams

Minimum Qualification

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • Technology stack: Java, Python, C++, Golang
  • Experience with Jenkins Serverless, GitHub and Artifactory integration
  • Broad knowledge of AWS, server programming, databases, SQL data query, cloud architectures, and CI/CD practice

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with desktop GUI client development on Windows
  • Work on development and deployment of system features and automation framework
  • Experience working with CI/CD stacks like Serverless, Spinnaker
  • Experience with microservices and RESTful web services

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $90,700 and $156,530. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
