Position Overview

Responsible for China channel sales focused on managing key VARs

Responsibilities

  • Tightly working with assigned Key VARs, becoming trusted advisor, assisting in the development and success of their ADSK business
  • Closely working with Distribution sales manager in channel sales team to build sales and marketing plan and to share status of channel echo system
  • Together with ADSK business unit manager (Territory sales, MKTG, L/C etc), coordinate business strategies and plan with VARs to ensure optimal level of involvement, commitment from partners to maximize performance
  • Assists in the development and success of the regional reseller channel through consultation, business planning and market development activities
  • Acts as liaison between the dealer and Autodesk in order to facilitate effective two-way communication. Holds periodic regional sales meetings to bring resellers. Builds relationships with resellers in channel in order to ensure common vision and strategy
  • Recaps quarterly sales results with resellers. Helps resellers set quotas and goals for upcoming quarters
  • Provides training and assistance to the VARs directly or through appropriate company resources in the following areas: product training, sales training, account development, presentation and demonstration skills, seminar activity, marketing plans, and proposal development
  • Maintain relationships with resellers and/or distributors. Responsible for maintaining "health of channel". Ensure channel compliance with contract terms
  • Together with ADSK business unit manager (Territory sales, Industry sales, MKTG, L/C etc), coordinate business strategies and plan with VARs to ensure optimal level of involvement, build efficiency client coverage model, commitment from partners to maximize performance


Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 7+ years Sales / Business Development/ Channel Management experience
  • Strong presentation skill and communication skill
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Proven ability to collaborate on strategy with channel partners
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets/quotas and KPIs
  • Fluent in Chinese & English
  • Available to multiple travel
