Social Media Intern

The Social Media Intern is responsible for building and maintaining a community for our website users through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other appropriate social media platforms. This person will work directly with our marketing team; the intern will learn the basics of promotions law and assist the marketing manager from time to time as well. We are looking for someone who can help optimize social media campaigns, tweaking them as required. Explore other social media platforms to reach and engage our target audience. The Social Media Intern will also be responsible for administrative support to other departments within the organization.
Must demonstrate exemplary communication and organization. Must be an active communicator on multiple social media platforms. Great attention to detail and multi-tasking is required. Must possess the ability to create written and visually innovative content. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred, but not required. 15-20 hours weekly, days will be flexible.

Allison is in charge of the festival's relationships with its partners, so she spends her time planning events and communicating with both potential and current sponsors to ensure their awareness of all the festival has to offer.

Conference Director

Erin oversees AFF's annual Screenwriter Conference. She researches industry trends, contacts major industry players, and brings them all to Austin to host workshops for screenwriters.
