Grants Management Intern

Austin Film Festival is seeking a Grants Management Intern to help manage several grant-related projects throughout the fiscal year. The position provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in full-cycle grant management, including the application process, budgeting, and submitting a grant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working under the guidance of the Executive Assistant, the Grants Management Intern will have the following duties:
Manage the year-round grants calendar (application deadlines, report deadlines, etc.)
Review historical documents and preserve content for easy reference
Conducting prospect research
Assisting with other grants-related projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
One year of related college or professional experience preferred
Proven track record of strong writing, research and formatting skills
Fluency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
Experience working with databases preferred
Detail oriented candidate with strong time management skills
Self-starter with an ability to collaborate effectively
