Sales Executive 1 Fiber



Overall Purpose:

Exciting opportunity for an ambitious "hunter type" acquisition sales person to drive business to business sales in new fiber lit buildings to grow revenue and increase fiber broadband penetration in the marketplace. 



Key Roles/Responsibilities:

This hunter seller is responsible for generating new sales from customers in AT&T Fiber ready & Fiber near buildings.

Primary responsibility of the position will be to sell AT&T Fiber & additional strategic products/services to customers.  A key strategy is to win business from competitors in the marketplace. 

Sales and product training will be provided by our world-class training organization to accelerate your achievement and prepare you for success.

Position performance based on new sales, customer satisfaction, & building penetration to ensure a return on buildings connected to the AT&T network. 

Responsible for meeting all customers within the Fiber Based Broadband building, identifying opportunities, proposing and closing sales, and may require collaboration with the customer assigned account team. 

Employees in this position spend more than 50% of their time performing duties directly related to making sales away from their offices at customers' place of business.

Duties directly related to making sales includes:

  • Cold calling prospective customers to close sales
  • Knocking on doors and feet on the street tactics to close sales
  • Getting past gatekeepers to meet with decision makers
  • Meeting with customers to understand their business and provide solutions
  • Owning key strategic relations with property managers
    • securing AT&T's ability to solicit customers in exchange for advanced network assets.

Experience: Outside business to business sales or cold calling experience preferred.
