DUTIES: Gather, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of data to identify causal relationships, trigger points and ultimately make predictions on behavioral patterns of users and processes. Works closely with client to develop business use-cases and gather necessary requirements. Assist in Data Acquisition process by communicating with required stakeholders and resolve any issues throughout the process. Analyze business logic using tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, VBA, Access, Visio, and XLMiner. Develop business use-cases and gathering necessary requirements. Work with databases using SQL and perform ETL operations to provide summarized/derived datasets used in data analysis. Build predictive models using R and Python and statistically test the model outside of the sample size and validate the model in the real world.Quantify significance of data variances, apply an array of statistical methods such as descriptive statistics and inferential statistics and model validation ranging from traditional to newly-developing within the Big-Data space. Work with Big Data tools such as Map-Reduce, Hadoop, PIG, Hive, and NoSQL. Develop charts, tables, and other visual aids in support of findings using Business Intelligence tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, and PowerBI. Advise business partners on data insights to recommend business direction or outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Management of Information Technology or Computer Science and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience developing business use-cases and gathering necessary requirements; analyzing business logic using tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, VBA, Access, Visio, and XLMiner; working with databases using SQL and perform ETL operations; applying statistical methods such as descriptive statistics and inferential statistics; building predictive models using languages such as R and Python and perform statistical testing; and generating visualizations of data using Business Intelligence tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, and PowerBI. Experience to include six (6) months of working with Big Data Tools such as Map-Reduce, Hadoop, PIG, Hive, and NoSQL.
