Principal Software Engineer Web Applications
This position ispart of the Xandr Data: Marketing, Advertising, and Content data-sharingplatform that resides within the Chief Data Office of Xandr - AT&TAdvertising & Analytics. The Xandr Data cloud-based platform combinesAT&T's unique consumer data and growing content data assets and enablesdata sharing across business units in support of marketing, advertising, andcontent intelligence related use cases. This role leverages APIs,microServices, and common service layer components to build engaging webapplications in our overall architecture for Data Products in Xandr.
This career step requires expert level experience.Responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application orservice, including design, development, testing, deployment, productionapplication support (e.g., troubleshooting) and maintenance with a focus onautomation.
Key Roles andResponsibilities
Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/userstories, provide estimates, create software design specifications andcollaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and softwareinteractions. Execute a specific development methodology through application ofvarious programming languages. Create and execute automated testplans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate withengineers/architects, clients, etc. to validate test environments, test dataand test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes againstexpected results and produce associated reporting. In addition to Unit Test,responsibilities may include interface testing, integration testing, end-to-endtesting and/or user acceptance testing. Supports applications and solves configurationand environment issues. Supports the software deployment process.
Day to day responsibilities for this position includesolution engineering for web applications deployed in cloud platforms (AWS)leveraging approved PaaS components and platform design patterns to integrateand operationalize data product applications and services using APIs.
