Principal Engineer (Government)

AT&T Government Solutions is looking for an experienced
Engineer to provide advanced technical support for a Government Program Office
at the Washington Navy Yard. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
1) Perform in
the role of supporting the govt program management team in evaluating
engineering designs, technical assessments and special studies.  Work is 100% on government site location. 
2) Provide multi-disciplinary technical
support to the program management team, including technical requirements review
for advanced signature management activities. 
3) Provide technical support for modeling & simulation development
that assesses signature vulnerabilities and sensor performance. 
4) Provide technical review of test &
evaluation activities evaluating signature performance. 
5) Interface between the Program Office and
various stakeholders, including resource sponsors, technical/design agents
(field activities, R&D agencies, test facilities, vendors)

Additional Information:

Required
Skills/Education/Experience


1) Current
active TOP SECRET clearance required (must have a current SSBI). 

2) Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or
related technical discipline. 

3) Fifteen
(15) or more years experience in support of DoD signature and sensor
programs, mainly in the research & development field. 

4) Solid understanding of the DoD
Acquisition System; Joint Capabilities Integration & Development System
(JCIDS); Programming, Planning, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) System;
Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition
Regulation Supplement (DFARS). 

5) Ability
to multi-task in support of numerous projects with a demanding, dynamic
workload.  Extreme attention to detail
and follow-through. 

6) Excellent
communication skills (written and oral); able to effectively interact with
customers, partners, and associates at all levels.  Prepare and deliver presentations. 

7) High proficiency with MS Office Suite,
web-based applications, and databases.




Desired:

1) MS degree in
technical management or technical discipline. 

2) Former DoD (military or civilian)
experience highly desirable.
