Junior Cyberspace Analyst (Government)

AT&T Government Solutions is currently seeking a Cyber Threat Data Analyst. Responsibilities include analysis of multiple open source and subscription data points to create intelligence that focuses on strategic adversarial activities. Responsible for collecting, cataloging and analyzing data points as well as tools, techniques and procedures used by adversaries.

  • Provide analysis and research for infrastructure, technology, national/geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability.
  • Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operational success.
  • Drive the normalization, correlation, and integration of internal and subscription threat intelligence source.
  • Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.
  •  Identify intelligence gaps, evaluate information from multiple sources, monitor trends and interpret events related to particular countries or issues.
  • Develop creative solutions to answer analytic questions and solve difficult problems.
  • Conduct research, develop query strategies, and analyze target intelligence to produce reports and recommendations.
  • Craft reports and concise visual graphics to convey strategic and operational level data analysis and intelligence.
  • Based upon intelligence threats, employee shall make recommendations to change prioritization of tasks and defensive efforts.
  • Employee will comply with all customer security requirements, participate in customer meetings, and provide training, as required.
  • Employee will be required to notify the government of any suspected security incidents in a timely manner, and assist in the investigation of incidents as necessary.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills, technical writing, and briefing skills are required.
  • Performance of duties after hours may be required


Additional Information:
Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in security information analysis to include an understanding of threat sources and countermeasures. Experience using penetration testing tools such as Nmap, Metasploit, Wireshark, etc. Possess understanding of Linux/Windows system security settings.

Required Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI and willingness to sign consent to polygraph

Desired: CISSP, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Network+ certifications. Understanding of collections platforms, sensors and adversary communication methods. Excellent writing, communication and briefing skills.
