Information Assurance, Intermediate (Government)

Prepare comprehensive written reports and presentations based on research, collection, and analysis of information assurance data. Also maintain databases. Will perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Document and monitor information assurance programs and computer network systems for compliance of continuity, operations security, forensics, regulatory compliance, insider threat detection and mitigation, physical security analysis (including facilities analysis, and security management). Assesses and mitigates system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle. Validates system security requirements definition and analysis. Provides input and guidance of security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures to accomplish network security. Verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities. Supports secure systems operations and maintenance. Applies extensive technical expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Work is performed with appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Bachelor's in computer science or related engineering disciplines; 4 years of related experience including system analysis processing Risk Management Framework packages; must have Security+

Required Clearance: Top Secret with eligibility. Must have held an active TS/SCI position within the past 24 months and be willing to take a polygraph if required.

Desired: Advanced degree in related discipline.
