Director-Product Mktng Mgmt

This role is responsible for AT&T's Product Marketing team responsible for the Broadband Product Delivery and lifecycle management more specifically for driving adoption of best home networking CPE and related software reducing support costs and offering the best digital experience for customers interacting with their broadband service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management of a team of 6-8 product managers responsible for the external Partner relationships, platform development, reliability and enhancements billing enhancements. New product development and introduction for the Residential Gateway hardware and software releases.
  • Creates and delivers executive presentations, roadmaps and plans around third party applications, billing and compliance
  • Works across the organization with groups including CTO, Pricing, Development teams, Legal and Accounting
  • This position is responsible for:
    • Directing the development of company market requirements for specific products or product lines
    • Life cycle management of products/services in order to optimize market plan performance,
    • Supporting the team meeting revenue growth and profitability objectives
    • Prioritizing and tracking initiative performance
  • Directs the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace
  • This position approves, sets priorities, and allocates resources for execution of the line of business strategy and achievement of performance objectives including: financial performance, market share, production and delivery of market area support projects (e.g. directs and approves new products and product features; directs advertising and promotional programs, etc.)
  • Acts as a technical advisor for specific product(s) assigned
  • Responsible for product family lifecycle costs
  • Supports sales operation activities by providing training and current product information to sales staff
  • Establishes operational objectives and assignments, and delegates assignments to subordinate managers
  • Product lines are diverse in nature and require experienced management
  • This is a supervisory position

Additional Information:

Required Qualifications:

  • A successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience with technology product management/marketing or telecom
  • Strong and well defined communications, interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills a must
  • Project Management background essential
  • Ability to pass s a criminal background check and drug test
  • The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation:
    • Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax 

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related Technical field, Business or Marketing is preferred
