Digital Strategy Manager


The Digital Strategy Manager is a mix of consultant, trend finder, investigative journalist, storyteller and digital strategist. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for digital TV and video technologies, and experience finding creative and strategic digital opportunities while operating in a fast-paced, multinational environment. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong background in digital media, Paid and Social, Content Strategy, SEO, Web Design, UX Design, Data and Google and or Adobe Analytics. You have a successful track record and deep passion for groundbreaking digital platforms and products and an eye toward the horizon.

RESPONSIBILITIES

#Product Strategy

  • Develop a deep understanding of the rapidly changing digital TV ecosystem. Analyze and articulate the competitive landscape, evolving and emerging video and TV business models and new technology trends
  • Work with internal product management teams to influence product direction and ensure strategy maximizes partner platform opportunities
  • Define and articulate product vision and consumer value proposition to assist with the development of commercial models that take advantage of partner platform capabilities

#Trend Prediction
  • Research industry best practices, deep dive in research platforms, industry journals
  • Monitor major technology vendors and investigate key partner strategies to ensure the best representation on their platforms
  • Identify and develop marketing opportunities with consumer device platform partners based on development and launch cycles

#Research
  • Ability to find anything on the internet
  • Identify new partner platform opportunities based on the changing digital TV and video landscape
  • Research new tools, trends, analyze upcoming trends in video and digital landscapes
  • Provide actionable recommendations in a "if you do X, you will achieve Y" format

#Business Case Development
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop business cases to put your recommendations into action
  • Strong Financial Skills required, understanding of a P&L and how to properly estimate costs are key to this position
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with partners to anticipate new product directions and marketing opportunities


Additional Information:

EXPERIENCE NEEDED
  • 5+ years of experience building in digital strategy, agency experience or entrepreneurial efforts
  • Experience pitching and recommending tactics within slide decks( including but not limited to supportive visuals)
  • Comfortable with presenting your ideas and handling critical feedback of internal teams
  • Attention to detail

  • Familiarity with established and emerging video platforms (YouTube, Hulu, Crackle, etc.) required

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree is not required, but a Bachelor's Degree in related discipline is preferred

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English, proficiency in Spanish Required, Portuguese Preferred

TRAVEL

Ability to travel as needed (approx. 25%) and work flexible hours/days of the week
