HPC System Engineer HW (m/w/d)

Als HPC System Engineer HW sind Sie im Sektor High Performance Computing (HPC) als Schnittstelle zum Service Delivery Manager, Client Manager und Technical Manager sowie Lieferanten und Supplier tätig. Sie arbeiten an einer der großten HPC Sites in Deutschlands.

In ihrem Arbeitsalltag sind sie eng mit Projektteams vernetzt. In Kooperation mit dem HPC Service & Support Team optimieren sie die globale High Performance Computing Prozess Architektur.

Aufgaben:

• Klassifizierung und Priorisierung ungeloster Incidents
• Selbstständiges initiieren von Untersuchungen am HPC Cluster
• Kommunikation in alle HPC Support-Bereichen zur Ermittlung von Ursachen
• Eigenverantwortliches und losungsorientiertes Arbeiten im HPC Cluster
• Untersuchung der Ursache von Problemen und dazugehorige Dokumentation
• Kommunikation auf Mitarbeiter- / Benutzerebene beim Kunden. (Teilnahme an Technischen Meetings)
• Weiterleitung an das Problemmanagement
• Dokumentation von Losungen in einer Wissensdatenbank
• Beratung der Anwender bezüglich der HPC Systeme, Produkte und bereitgestellten Dienste auch in nicht standardisierten Umgebungen
• Regelmäßige Überwachung von Incidents

• Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung im IT Bereich, Duales Studium oder vergleichbarer Abschluss
• Linux Kenntnisse
• Gute Deutsch und Englisch-Kenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Erfahrung an HPC Data Center Environments oder heterogenen Rechenzentren wünschenswert
