Team Lead - Data Science and Analytics
As a Team Lead for Behavioural Analytics at Atlassian, you will join an engineering-led company and the award-winning leader in software development and collaboration tools with over 80,000 customers.

Atlassian is growing so our need for behavioural data will increase exponentially, and we need to scale our analytics capabilities to maximize our customer impact.
Leading a team of kick-ass Data Scientists and Analysts, you’ll be focused on helping your team to grow & advance the craft whilst also seeking to achieve scale in tooling and methodology. Helping cut through the noise, you will set clear priorities for your team to guide them towards a strategic mindset helping them be more discerning around the opportunities we go after.
Ultimately, we're looking for a difference maker - data scientists need to take data, turn it into insights, follow-up these insights until they turn in to actions that benefits for our customers. To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
· Experience leading cross-functional teams of Data Analysts (3+)
· Strong SQL experience
· Scripting experience (Python, R, shell, Perl, etc.)
· Experience with Presto, Hive, Hadoop or other Big Data frameworks
· Experience with Machine Learning or Statistical Modelling (R, SciPy, Weka, etc.)
· Data visualisation (e.g. Tableau, ggplot, plotly, etc.)
· Strong organizational and communication skills with experience of developing and instilling a culture of data-driven decision-making
· An awesome sense of humour
