Senior Product Manager (based in Sydney)

Job Description

If you live and breathe building great user experiences, have awesome technical chops, love solving problems and thrive on variety, Atlassian has a great opportunity for you. As a Senior Product Manager you'll be shaping the product experience, roadmap and vision of our products. You will work with development teams based in Sydney to define, build and champion cloud and on-premise technologies.

We're hiring rapidly across all of our product teams.  Come and be part of this amazing journey!

More about you

First and foremost, you love working hard to make experience as amazing as possible for customers. You’ve got a honed attention to detail; we want you to care about the small things just as much as the big things. You have prior success defining and launching features, can pull off that delicate balancing act of prioritising competing opportunities (including evaluating customer needs with our business priorities), and are a pro at communication, including writing and articulating a user case. You’ve got charisma in spades; you will need to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. You’re social and adept at building relationships across product lines and functional groups to make sure we are all on the same page.

Having earned your BA/BS Computer Science or a related technical degree is strongly preferred. You’d also be a great fit if you have 5 + years of product management experience in a high growth software product organisation or a history of working with design and development teams to produce a great customer experience. You are a strategic thinker (but can get down in the weeds too) with great creative and innovative problem-solving skills. And you know that saying “there is no ‘I’ in team”? It’s a real thing and alive and well at Atlassian.

More about our team

Our team is defined by our connection to customers along every step of the process.  We empathise with their pain points and are passionate about creating solutions to understand, validate, and solve their problems. Collaboration is our glue, whether it is working with engineering, design, project management and product marketing. From the smallest details to two year planning and vision, we’re the meeting point of business, technology and customer solutions—and we love it every step of the way.

More about the perks

Our offices are open, highly collaborative and yes, fun! To support you at work (and play) we offer some killer perks: ample time off to relax and recharge, five paid volunteer days a year for your favourite cause, plenty of food and drinks (including our famous 'Charlie's bar'), ergonomic workstations with Aeron chairs, 20% work time for your passion projects, unique ShipIt days, a company paid trip after five years and more.
