Product Manager

Job Description

Atlassian is seeking an experienced Product Manager to establish and champion the vision for our customer support platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing features and requirements for our suite of customer support systems, including our ticketing, knowledge base, and community platforms. Your focus will be on transforming the operational maturity of a team of hundreds across the globe and delivering an elegant and simple help experience for our customers. 

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with disciplines across different departments within a quick-paced, fast-growing company to deliver awesome outcomes. You will help shape and drive the major programs of work throughout the team, you'll bring order and focus while leaving room for flexibility and innovation. You'll bring infectious urgency to those around you, you'll be a mentor, multiplier, influencer, negotiator and awesome communicator rolled into one.

We're specifically looking for product managers with passion and experience in software development, operations platforms, and scaled, customer support systems.


  • Develop, maintain, and drive the two-year platform vision for the C4L operations organization.

  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of an innovative platform that will support the operational needs of our support agents and customers.

  • Gather requirements from multiple sources to form a frictionless experience for our customers and customer support agents.

  • Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution and drive key wins back into our Atlassian products.

  • Drive product development across a team of experienced engineers and designers.

  • Build and deliver the business cases for product investments, as needed.

  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.

  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.

  • Understand Atlassian’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry.

  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.


  • 3+ years product management or product design experience.
  • Development experience is a major plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications.
  • Experience developing customer support technologies and platforms is strongly desired.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field is ideal.
