Principal Product Manager - Enterprise

Job Description

As a Principal Product Manager for Atlassian's Server offerings, you will drive our enterprise strategy for products like JIRA and Confluence with a focus on scaling performance and user experience, especially as we expand beyond software teams. You will inspire and energize teams across Atlassian to define the vision, evaluate market opportunities, analyze industry trends as well as customer and partner needs, and prioritize features and improvements. Your work will impact tens of thousands of customers and partners now and for the next decade, as you define the foundations for how people connect using content. 

More about you

You love working hard to make products as amazing as possible for customers. You’ve honed your attention to detail; we want you to care about the small things just as much as the big things. You have prior success defining and launching excellent products, can pull off that delicate balancing act of prioritizing competing opportunities (including evaluating customer needs with our business priorities), and are a pro at communication, including writing and articulating a use case. You’ve got charisma in spades; you will need to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. You’re social and adept at building relationships across product lines and functional groups to make sure we are all on the same page. Previous experience in the fields of project management, collaboration, and enterprise software is a plus.

Having earned your BA/BS/MBA Computer Science or a related technical degree is strongly preferred. You’d also be a great fit if you have 10+ years of product management experience in a high growth software product organization or a history of working with design and development to produce a great customer experience. You are a strategic thinker (but can get down in the weeds too) with great creative and innovative problem-solving skills. Bonus points if you've spoken and written publicly (e.g., conference speaker, blogger, etc.). And you know that saying “there is no ‘I’ in team”? It’s a real thing and alive and well at Atlassian.
