Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer - DACH
Atlassian is looking for an outgoing technical guru who can 'talk shop' with our largest customers. Our Solutions Engineering team plays a key role in how Atlassian recommends and sells our suite of Enterprise Products and Services. How do you know if this is a fit for you?
As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, you work alongside both our internal sales and channel partner sales teams, providing technical sales support and solution-fit validation. You guide customers through the execution of high profile product evaluations using in-depth knowledge of Atlassian, our Enterprise tool set, and industry best practices. This can take on many forms from product demonstrations, phone calls, email support, and occasional on-site visits. The Solutions Engineer also acts as a feedback funnel directly to our product management teams, offering insights and recommendations gathered from their customer interactions.
This role can be based in Munich, or in any other city in Germany.

You want to be a part of something big. Big customers, big projects and big products define this role. Between helping enable our Enterprise Advocates to shine brighter with our customers and helping our customers find solutions to their real pain points, nothing about this role is small. If you want to be a cog in a large and defined system, then this simply is not a job for you.
Then we ask that you have 5-7 years experience interacting with customers and the strong written and oral communication skills to back it up. You have familiarity with application life-cycle concepts and deep experience with similar ALM tools (as a user or admin, or on the vendor side), in-depth knowledge of web applications, internet technology, and infrastructure concepts. Ideally, we're looking for someone with deep knowledge in the DevOps space, understanding the ecosystem of potential integrations, and are able to discuss the merits of different branching strategies, configuration as code, and concepts like 'you build it, you run it'. A bonus would be if you have exposure to organizations implementing agile at scale and how they go about adapting the way their teams work to deliver value to market. Really want to win us over? Language wise, you should be fluent in German, able to present at and lead customer meetings in German, yet still be comfortable presenting and sharing ideas to your colleagues across the globe in English.
