Engineering Manager, Identity and Trust
Atlassian helps teams everywhere change the world and we are looking for hands-on, technical managers to grow our Identity Engineering team. You will be leading a seed technology team in the bay area that helps build identity infrastructure and scale Atlassian products. Our products are revolutionizing the software industry and helping teams collaborate and craft that magic in delivering their best work. Think NASA launching the Rover on Mars or Cochlear gifting children born deaf with the ability to hear, your work directly impacts the products they use to advance humanity.
The primary focus of your role will be to help build out the Trust & Identity engineering team, ensure commitments stay on track, remove any roadblocks, and facilitate fast execution and timely decision-making. In addition, you will manage this team of Atlassians and ensure their growth and success. You will also collaborate across Atlassian to ensure project dependencies and deliveries are handled well.
We expect you to have significant experience as a full stack developer as well as leading a development team. We also expect you to have extensive background in web scale software and Identity/Fraud/Security solutions.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 5+ years in engineering management following Agile development processes
- Prior experience running an identity/security/privacy/spam/fraud team
- Experience as a full stack engineer building large scale web software
- Ability to contribute to the technical and business strategy of the team
- BS (or higher) in CS or related field
